I have a 97 dodge intrepid the engine controller maxi fuse keeps blowing I tried straight wiring the fuse .?

car still wont start even if i put a new fuse in with out the wire going across it still blows this fuse

a bad ignition switch will cause that fuse to blow out like that,a bad fuel pump will also cause that fuse to blow out,that's the most common cause of it that i find,what ever you do don't run a wire across the fuse you,ll burn a feed wire in to on it then it will take a good mechanic a hours to locate it,good luck
