I will give my opinion regarding Adlers order theory….

First of all you need to remember that there are many influences on personality….ex. vs. nature….also if there is a 3 yr gap or more between siblings sub groups are formed…

First child tendencies:

leadership abilities
perfectionist
organized
logical

Middle child tendencies:

tend to have reasonable expectations
independent thinker
diplomatic

Youngest child tendencies:

charming
tenacious
uncomplicated
attention seeker

Only child tendencies:

tend to have more of the first born characteristics

In my family Adlers theories seem to make sense…I am a first born and while no one has all the same qualities, I do have a lot of the characterisics that seem to his theories.

PS: I feel the need to answer this question in essay form..as someone else said "do your own homework".
