I need HongKong tips for my first travel... Thanks!?

My family is going to travel to Hongkong in August 21~ We'll be staying there for 5 days~ Can someone asnwer my questions? I tried researching but i want the answers from people who have really experienced going there~ (Im from the Philippines btw~)

1. Can you recommend a good cheap hotel which isnt that far away from the shopping districts?
2. Im a gadget freak, what stores would you recommend that isnt way too expensive...
3. Which shopping district is the best in buying really cheap things? Another purpose of our visiting there is to buy stuff like Bed sheets and covers for our mini Hotel back home...
4. Which restaurants are the best but cheap?
5. Is it advisable to take cabs?
6. Are there dangerous parts of the city?
7. Are there any other advice you could give to first timers like me?

Thank you for taking time to answer my questions! *hugs*

arrival a train to hong kong island cost HK$100 each, you can take a bus for half that price, but if you have a family and plenty of baggage, take the train, less hastle.hotels near shopping centers are expensive, get a taxi tell him take you to reasonable hotel, distance is not an issue, as the underground rail called MTR can get you any where in hong kong or kowloon. very quickly.
use the MTR where you can as taxi very expensive.
there are no dangerious areas, but keep away from Wanchai after mid night..
there are many food shops, depends on what you whant to eat, plenty of noodle shops, you will see many females from the philipins, especialy on a Sunday, in central district, they can give you much advice.
get a bus to Stanley Market, thats a must. there is also a cheap market place in central, a side lane called Wing Lok lane, you can get your sheets there.it is in Queens road central near the central market. hope you enjoy your stay. if you need more help get me on johnfleming32@hotmail

Candle Home Business Success Secrets

Setting up your own candle home business can be tricky. For beginners, the best way to deal with doubt is to learn and acquire the basic skills. It is very possible to read on instruction manuals and start from there. However, the best way to start a candle home business to learn how to make the candles yourself.

Success is very relative. It depends on the longevity and market share. If candle-making is your interest, it is advisable to study what needs to be learned. Start from square one and acquire those skills. Enroll in a short course of candle-making. You can also try referrals from friends. See if there is someone who is equally interested.

After learning the needed skills, you can now start a candle home business by setting a definite work area or work place. Set up your supplies and tools in a well-ventilated space. For first-timers, it is recommended to start with minimum capital or investment. You can always start with a few supplies of wax, wicks, jars and scents. Better yet, maximize your own kitchen area and turn it into a work place after office hours or when your kids are not present. However, having a specific place for candle-making is the best step.

If you are already starting in your candle home business, it is recommended to produce the more basic type of candles. Do not hastily try creating scented candle items. Improve your craft and in time, you can redevelop and advance your skills. As time goes, you will soon find out how practice makes perfect.

Creativity has always been the key in any type of business. Be it a workshop, salon or candle home business, creativity is always the best resource of great finds and talents. You have to realize that candle-making is a skill and the only way to succeed is to set your candles apart from the rest. You can do it by means of innovation and constant thinking.

Think of new scents or make your candles different. Experiment with new molds and shapes. If you are a born artist, why not apply hand-painted images onto candle bases. Think of ribbons, laces even flower petals as ornaments. Keep your mind open for any ideas and surely, you will never run out of them.

A candle home business is only successful once you delivered great results daily. Besides, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing your own creation at center tables or mini-gardens. Do not be discouraged right away, especially if things become uneasy. In the short run, it is the art and the love for candles and freshest scents that brings immense joy and fulfillment.

If you wouldn't want to drink it (presumably because the taste is off) why would you want to use it as a flavoring agent for your food? You have to taste the wine and determine what the "off" flavor is and if it will be acceptable with the rest of the ingredients. Personally, I would stick the crowbar in the old wallet and drop $10.00 on a decent bottle of wine – I'd cook with some of it and enjoy the rest while eating the meal (which sounds delicious)
