The compact Fluorescent bulbs that are now begining to take the place of the traditional incandescent light bulb should be fine. I say this with one tip in mind though – when you purchase these bulbs be sure you purchase ones that have a softer more incandescent light, not the bright harsh “blue” light. Here is a sample of what could work for you –

It is funny how you said anything junk is Made in China. As if your respectable GE LEDs are not made in China. Let me tell you something, All these LED lamp are in fact made in China in the gut. Instead of saying they were made in U.S.A. they should say assembled in U.S.A (Light of America did already). The fact is, some GE product themselves were out source design by some other foreign firms including Chinese.
FUCK THIS BAN, there is no good alternative to the good old incandescent light bulb yet, why the fuck these stupid ass piece of shit politicians push these bans.
